Nestled in the heart of the Lone Star State, Austin is a home unlike any other. A city of rich cultural tapestry, celebrating creativity with a bit of southern charm. Woven with self-expression in all its beautiful, diverse forms. But in order to keep Austin its weird and loveable-self, we have the Austin’s Office of Civil Rights (OCR).
The Austin Office of Civil Rights is a government agency, promoting and protecting civil rights and equal opportunities for all residents of the City of Austin, Texas. Established August 2020, their goal is to develop city-wide policies and programs that promote diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity.
To say nothing of OCR’s works on the field, enforcing anti-discrimination laws, investigating complaints of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. OCR’s ensures that everyone has access to the same opportunities. The Office of Civil Rights will focus on critical areas of enforcement and compliance:

As can be seen, working with the Austin Office of Civil Rights is a rewarding and enriching experience. The agency is committed to ensuring that all members of the community are treated with respect and dignity, and that everyone has access to equal opportunities. We look forward to our continued alliance in showing our deepest and sincerest love to our city.
