With over a decade of successful experience in the tech startup space, Mody also co-founded Ambature in 2007. Lee Shapiro is a seasoned entrepreneur and investment expert, serving as Managing Partner at 7wireVentures, a health consumer investment firm he co-founded over a decade ago. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously served as President of Allscripts from 2001 until the end of 2012. During his tenure, Lee played an instrumental role in executing over $4 billion in mergers, acquisitions, and financings.

Melissa Withers is the founder and Managing Partner of RevUp Capital. She is a skilled investor, fund manager, and business builder. Melissa has invested in 120+ companies. She began her investing career as a Managing Partner of a pre-seed fund that invested in 80+ companies. Frustrated by the constraints of the equity-only model, she co-founded a revenue-based fund for early stage companies.

Come to SXSW 2023 and learn how to create real-time cloud-connected augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) apps with a fully-functioning cloud-backend. All in less than 15 minutes by the way. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and an Android phone, or just follow along the live demonstration. Platforms for experimentation include: Google ARCore, WebXR, Vuforia, Unity-based apps, and more. Participants will show how a small change in one cloud-connected app, can send updates to all other apps across the different AR/VR SDKs & platforms.
