Today Apple held a Keynote event to introduce their new products and software. They officially announced iPhone X, iPhone 8, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. So, is it everything you expected it to be? Here are the big highlights.
iPhone X
A device that is entirely screen, no home button. It responds to a tap, your voice and even a glace. This 5.8-inch Super Retina screen is visually appealing. The new display uses new techniques and technology to follow the curves of the design all the way to the rounded corners. This is the first OLED with stunning colors, true blacks, high brightness and 1,000,000 to 1 contrast ratio. Due to some of the most sophisticated technology Apple has ever developed, the cameras and sensors enable Face ID. It has the most durable glass, wireless charging and is water and dust resistant.
iPhone 8
All-new glass design, the most powerful camera to date, wireless charging and enhanced augmented reality experiences. This phone is also water and dust resistant and comes in space gray, silver and gold finishes. They offer new 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch Retina HD displays. True Tone technology automatically adjusts white balance to match the light around you for a better viewing experience. The advanced 12MP camera has a larger, faster sensor, new color filters, deeper pixels and optical image stabilization for photos and videos. Wireless charging allows iPhone 8 to charge as long as it is touching a charging mat.
Watch
Stay connected when you’re away from your phone. Users can now make calls and send texts with just their watch. They are also able to stream 40 million songs right from their wrist. Siri will set reminders, send invitations or give directions. When working out, GPS and Altimeter will show how far and high you go. Activity sharing allows people to compete and encourage their friends. This watch encourages users to have a healthy lifestyle.
TV 4K
Apple TV 4K lets you watch movies and show in 4K HDR quality. Content such as Netflix, Hulu and ESPN are available. 4K gives users a crisper picture by delivering brighter, more realistic colors and greater details. It also offers live content – news and sports.
