Warm soup is an ideal meal for those cooler fall days. If you’re looking for a nourishing and quick to-go meal, stop by The Soup Peddler. They have a variety of soups, including vegetarian options. Some of the more autumnal soups are the Veggie Tortilla Soup, the Smoked Turkey Pepper Pot and the Texas Chili. Their soup selection varies each day so be sure to visit their online ordering page. All Soup Peddler locations are take-out only and cashless now. Curbside is available through their online ordering page.

Sweetgreen
Located on South Congress, Sweetgreen’s menu features the season’s top ingredients. The savory Super Seasonal Menu includes items such as the Autumn Caesar, Cranberry Maple Chicken and Chicken + Brussels. The dining room is closed, but in-store ordering is now available. You can also order online on their site.

Kerbey Lane Cafe
An Austin favorite, Kerbey Lane’s fall menu has a variety of savory and sweet items on their Fall 2020 Menu. The menu has everything from a Chili Queso Fries starter to their Pumpkin French Toast Platter. You are sure to find the fall menu item for you. All locations are open daily for delivery or Kerbside pickup. You can order online through their website. All the locations are also now open for Dine In.

Sugar, Pumpkin Spice, and Everything Nice

La Mexicana Bakery
For baked fall sweets, head to La Mexicana Bakery on South First Street. Here, you can indulge in delicious Mexican pastries. Pivot from pumpkin pie and check out the fall favorites on this menu. Try the pumpkin, sweet potato, and apple empanadas. The bakery is open and available 24 hours a day.

Lick Honest Ice Creams
For seasonal flavors in a chilly treat for the days of warmer weather, head over to Lick Honest Ice Creams. You’ll find an array of ice cream with dairy free/vegan options, ice cream sandwiches and toppings. The seasonal scoops include flavors such as Orange Plumsicle and Seven Layer Bar. You can also add the seasonal topping of fig sauce. The scoop shops are currently open. You can order online for curbside or pickup.
