Electronic devices are continuously going through technological evolution, especially now that smart devices are essential to people’s lives. Smartphones
The Prometheus phone by Brandeis
- The Brandeis Prometheus smartphones is about the change smartphones as we know it. With a unique Android-inspired design, the smartphone prides itself for having studio-perfect cameras thanks to the 8 LED lights on it. It is still undergoing design, so there is no release date yet.
- Samsung impresses their customers again with the Galaxy Fold 2. Yes, the screen actually folds and you can open/close the phone like a book. The screen still has an amazing resolution as well as the ability to operate three apps at once. It is speculated to be released in August.
- Upcoming this fall, Apple will release the iPhone 12. There will be four versions: iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Like with the standard size vs the plus, the iPhone will vary in size. It will be designed for best compatibility with the new iOS system.
Tablets
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7
- The Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 plus is scheduled to launch in August. Much like their Note smartphone cousins, it will include the S pen. It took Samsung a while to perfect their tablet design, and this will prove they have mastered the art of tablet design. It will feature 5G connectivity.
- Not only is Apple going to release the iPhone 12, but they are also going to bust out their new iPad. This September, the iPad will have a 10″ screen and be able to support the new iOS 14 system. The new iOS system will provide long-lasting battery life and performance.
Computers and Laptops
- Since Apple is going to release their new iPad and iPhone, they have to release the newest Mac computer as well, right? Correct! The iMac was scheduled for release on June 22, but there was a slight delay but they are gearing towards release in July. The laptop will cost roughly around $2,300. The last iMac release was in 2018, so we are excited to see how far Apple has grown in the past two years.
